Team Building Event Glatthaar Keller GmbH & Co. KG
Perfect weather and great spirits marked the start of our afternoon in Donzdorf!
As the CityHunters team guide, on 11 September 2025 at 3:30 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming the colleagues from Glatthaar Keller GmbH & Co. KG to an exciting Geocaching event in Donzdorf. We met on Schloßstraße, where we went through the schedule together.
After a brief welcome I explained the rules and how to use the CityHunters app on the tablets. There were 32 participants in total, divided into five enthusiastic teams. The mood was immediately positive: curiosity and team spirit were in the air — the perfect foundation for a successful team building experience in Donzdorf.
Then we got started: the teams set off through Donzdorf's charming corners, drawn by puzzles and team challenges to be solved at various stations. Whether tricky codes, creative photo tasks, or short observation challenges — points were awarded for skillful cooperation and clever problem solving. During the tour the teams were on their own, competing in friendly rivalry for the highest score. I was available by phone throughout the event in case anyone needed assistance.
The route took the groups past landmarks such as St. Martinus Church and Donzdorf Castle, and through the picturesque old town. This combination of discovery and challenge is what makes our Geocaching experience so special: sightseeing meets hands-on adventure — ideal for a lasting team building experience in Donzdorf.
After about 2.25 hours everyone returned to Schloßstraße for the awards ceremony. The tension was high — then the cheering: the winning team Heroes took first place with 375 points. Coming in second were the Kellerasseln with 315 points, closely followed by Unschlagbare Erfahrung with 300 points.
It was an all-round successful afternoon: sunny, fair competition, lots of laughs and visible camaraderie. A team building experience in Donzdorf looks just like this — active, connecting, and full of fun working together. I am already looking forward to the next adventure in this beautiful town!
