Team Building Event Tölke und Fischer GmbH & Co.KG CUPRA Garage Krefeld
On September 5, 2025 at 7:00 PM I had the pleasure of guiding a wonderful Geocaching event in Krefeld as a CityHunters team guide. Seventeen colleagues from Tölke und Fischer GmbH & Co. KG CUPRA Garage Krefeld met me at Theaterplatz, eager for an evening full of puzzles, activity and shared experiences.
After a short introduction and a technical briefing on our app we split the group into two teams. With tablets in hand the teams set off on their adventure: the tour led through the city center and to some of Krefelds charming corners — from the Krefeld art museums Haus Lange and Haus Esters to notable churches like St. Dionysius. This mix is what makes a team building experience in Krefeld so special.
The rules were simple: the teams were on their own and earned points by solving riddles correctly and completing creative team tasks. I stayed reachable by phone throughout in case help was needed, but deliberately left room for initiative and teamwork. The pleasant weather contributed to a relaxed and motivating atmosphere.
It was impressive to see how quickly team roles emerged: tinkerers, organizers, idea generators — everyone played their part. It is precisely in challenges like these that the value of a team building experience in Krefeld becomes clear: communication, trust and shared successes grow through working together.
After three hours we met back at Theaterplatz for the awards. Narrowly victorious was the team Los hunteros cupra with 300 points, edging out strong challengers Milfhunterz who scored 270 points. Both teams clearly had fun, and the friendly competition kept spirits high until the end.
As a team guide I am always delighted to see how such events bring teams closer. Geocaching combines movement, creativity and city discovery, making it a perfect form of team building experience in Krefeld. Anyone wanting to see the city from a different angle will be surprised by how many stories and hidden spots Krefeld has to offer.
