Team Building Event Lidl Vertriebs- GmbH und Co. KG
As a CityHunters team guide I led a lively Geocaching tour on September 5, 2025 at 3:00 PM for the 22 participants from Lidl Vertriebs‑GmbH & Co. KG in Kassel. We met at Königsplatz, and after a brief welcome and explanation of the rules we set off in five teams. The mood was great from the start — perfect weather and eager anticipation made for an excellent beginning.
Our route wound through the city center and offered many beautiful views of Kassel: stops around the Fridericianum, the Orangerie Kassel and the Ottoneum provided moments of discovery and plenty of conversation. The teams navigated on their own and competed in a friendly contest. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for successfully completing shared team tasks — a real team building experience in Kassel that motivates and connects people.
Everything was well prepared on the technical side: after the briefing the groups used digital support to locate and work through the tasks. I was available by phone throughout the tour and provided help when questions or small uncertainties arose. Overall the emphasis was clearly on fun, cooperation and shared success — exactly what makes a team building experience in Kassel so valuable.
After two hours everyone reconvened at Königsplatz for the awards ceremony. The excitement was tangible as the results were announced: first place went to Sperspitze Lidl plus with 300 points. In second place was Champagne united, also with 300 points, and third place went to Lidl hunters with 270 points. Applause, laughter and shared memories rounded off the finale.
Events like this show that a team building experience in Kassel can be easy, fun and lasting. The combination of navigation, puzzles and exploring the city strengthens team cohesion and gives people something to talk about long after the event. I am happy we shared this special afternoon and look forward to many more exciting tours through Kassel.
