Team Building Event Technische Werke Ludwigshafen (TWL) AG
The event concept combines adventure, puzzle fun and shared challenges into a powerful team building experience — exactly what we experienced on September 1, 2025 in Altrip.
As CityHunters team guide I welcomed 22 colleagues from Technische Werke Ludwigshafen AG at 2:00 PM at the meeting point Zum Strandhotel. After a brief introduction and the distribution of tablets with the CityHunters app, we formed four teams and set off into a friendly competition for points and creativity.
The tour took the groups through the heart of Altrip: past the historic Kastell, the distinctive water tower and St. Konrad Church. This team building experience in Altrip was not just about speed, but about smart thinking, clear communication and solving a variety of tasks together. The teams were on their own throughout the tour and collected points by correctly solving puzzles and completing creative team challenges. I remained reachable by phone during the three hours to assist with any questions.
The weather was on our side and created a pleasant atmosphere — just the right setting to have fun together and strengthen team spirit. Our route repeatedly revealed charming little squares and corners of Altrip, so the team building experience also doubled as a delightful city discovery.
After three hours all teams reconvened at Zum Strandhotel for the awards ceremony. The winning team was KP Hunters with 210 points. In second place came Unschlagbar, also with 210 points, and third place went to GE(O)Winners with 180 points. All participants received personalized certificates as a reward — a lovely memento of the day.
Events like this show how well solving puzzles together connects people: humor, ambition and mutual support were at the forefront. Team building experience in Altrip succeeds in a playful and lasting way — a wonderful opportunity to bring colleagues closer and to see the town from a new perspective.
