Team Building Event Emil Löffelhardt GmbH + Co. KG
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure on September 1, 2025 of leading a group of 47 colleagues from Emil Löffelhardt GmbH + Co. KG through an exciting iPad Tour. The meeting point was the upper marketplace in Schorndorf, where I greeted everyone, gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and sent off the seven teams. The mood was great from the start — perfect weather for a team building experience in Schorndorf.
Each team had an iPad as their central hub: puzzles, challenges and interactive stations guided the groups through the town center. The teams operated independently and competed in a friendly contest for the highest points. It wasn't just about speed but also creativity, communication and good cooperation — exactly what makes a team building experience in Schorndorf so valuable.
During the iPad Tour participants discovered landmarks such as the Evangelical Town Church, Burgschloss Schorndorf and the sculpture walk. These sights provided lovely backdrops for the tasks and invited everyone to see Schorndorf from new perspectives. I remained available by phone in case of questions or technical problems — but mostly the teams' spirit on site was enough.
The CityHunters app displayed the scores along the way and kept everyone motivated with real-time feedback. Some teams worked out strategies, others relied on speed or creative solutions. After two hours everyone met back at the upper marketplace for the awards ceremony — a fitting end to a lively day full of fun and exchange.
The rankings reflected the close competition: in first place the team Die coole Gruppe with 300 points, followed by GabELstumpf with 285 points and Lagerlogistik with 240 points. The winners were delighted to receive medals, and all participants enjoyed the shared experience.
For me it was once again impressive to see how quickly people connect, laugh and learn new things about their city during an iPad Tour. A team building experience in Schorndorf is more than a game — it is an opportunity to discover colleagues in new ways and create shared moments of success. I am already looking forward to the next team building event here in Schorndorf.
