The 29 participants from cantamen GmbH arrived promptly and full of anticipation for our iPad Tour — a lively afternoon of discovery and team spirit in Hanover.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at the Leine riverbank (starting point Am Hohen Ufer), gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and explained the teams: five motivated groups, each with an iPad as the hub for the high-tech Scavenger Hunt. That’s how our interactive team building event in Hanover began.
The route took us through the city center past well-known sights, including the New Town Hall, the Market Church and the Leineschloss. At numerous stations there were tricky puzzles and creative team tasks that demanded observation, strategy and collaboration. Scores were shown live in the app, keeping the exciting competition for the highest score ever present.
During the tour the teams were largely left to their own devices and could choose their own routes and strategies. I remained reachable by phone to assist with technical questions or minor hiccups without interrupting the game flow. That way the experience stays flexible and secure — an ideal element for a sustainable team building experience in Hanover.
After roughly two and a half hours all groups met back at the starting point for a joint closing and the awards ceremony. In perfect weather and high spirits the winners were announced: first place went to Gordon's Checkers with 375 points, followed by SOS with 345 points and Henn's men with 300 points. Congratulations to the winners and a big round of applause for every team!
