Armed with tablets and our app as tools, the teams set off in search of clues. The mix of technology and adventure led the groups past well-known spots around Wuppertal: a detour to St. Laurentius, a look at the distinctive Lego bridge and shortly after the Botanical Garden provided the setting for tricky challenges. These stations became scenes where clues were gathered, puzzles solved and team tasks completed.
Throughout the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly race for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and creative team tasks, which showed how important communication and collaboration are. As team guide I was available by phone in case of questions or technical problems, but the groups mostly worked independently and with great commitment.
The weather was fine and the pleasant outdoor temperature helped keep spirits high; ideal for an active team building experience in Wuppertal. After exactly three hours all teams returned to Kirchstraße for the awards ceremony. The joy over the shared experiences was visible on every participant: the winning team PinkPanther took first place with 285 points. Runner up was Oh, ja, komm! with 240 points, closely followed by Citaro 4 in third, also with 240 points.
Events like this clearly demonstrate how a team building experience in Wuppertal is not only fun but also strengthens cohesion. With its mix of history, urban corners and green retreats — from St. Laurentius to the Botanical Garden — Wuppertal provides the perfect stage for shared adventures.
I am already looking forward to the next time when we take up the investigation again and rediscover the city together.
