Team Building Event Deka
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a particularly lively team building event on August 20, 2025: 35 colleagues from Deka met promptly at 4:00 PM in front of Burghof DAS HOTEL to rediscover Brombachtal together. The mood was immediately positive and curious, the perfect start for a genuine team building experience in Brombachtal.
After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app the participants were split into five teams. The app links all groups in real time, shows scores and provides a motivating live chat. Then off they went: the teams wandered through the streets and squares of Brombachtal, exploring sights such as Burg Kirchbrombach, the historic old town and other impressive buildings while collecting points.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, competing in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for tackling team tasks together — creativity, speed and good cooperation paid off. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour so any technical questions or unclear tasks could be resolved quickly.
The weather played along perfectly: sunshine, pleasant temperatures and lots of good spirits. That turned a city exploration into real teamwork. A team building experience in Brombachtal here means not just solving tasks but getting to know colleagues in new ways and growing together.
After exactly two hours all teams met again at Burghof DAS HOTEL for the awards ceremony. The results showed a tight, exciting race: winners were Depot Hunters with 345 points. In second place was DBD 4.0 with 315 points, closely followed by Sicher rein und raus, also with 315 points. Joy over successes and recognition for fair team spirit were the focus of the ceremony.
