Team Building Event Flick Gocke Schaumburg Partnerschaft mbB
Our iPad Tour combines modern technology, puzzle-solving and city exploration into an exciting team building experience in Bonn.
On August 11, 2025 at 2:30 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 30 colleagues from Flick Gocke Schaumburg Partnerschaft mbB at the entrance of the Schloßkirche as a CityHunters team guide. After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app the participants were divided into five teams and the adventure began.
The group enjoyed a playful team building experience in Bonn: teams navigated the city center with their iPads, explored sights around the Beethoven House, the Bonn Minster and Poppelsdorf Palace, and solved tricky puzzles and creative team challenges at various stations. Points were awarded for correct solutions and successful teamwork.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, which heightened the competitive spirit and sense of responsibility. I was reachable by phone at all times in case questions or technical issues arose. The CityHunters app connected the groups in real time and provided extra motivation and an overview.
The weather played along perfectly: sunshine and mild temperatures encouraged a lively atmosphere and focused teamwork at the same time. Everywhere you could feel how collaborative problem-solving, pace and strategy strengthen the sense of togetherness — that's exactly what makes a good team building experience in Bonn.
After about 2.5 hours all teams met again at the entrance of the Schloßkirche for the awards ceremony. To the surprise of many the winning team Platz 1 emerged in first place with zero points and received shiny medals as a reward. Applause and beaming faces rounded off the afternoon.
