Team Building Event Kirchliches Verwaltungsamt Berlin Mitte-West
My event concept blends adventure, puzzle fun and shared success – exactly that’s what I brought to Potsdam on July 17, 2025 at 9:00 AM with CityHunters for the Church Administrative Office Berlin Mitte-West using Geocaching.
As the team guide I welcomed 41 participants at Platz der Einheit, gave a short run-through of the schedule and introduced the technology and game rules. After a briefing and dividing into seven teams we were off: tablet and the CityHunters app in hand, the groups set out and dived into the tasks.
During the tour the teams moved independently and competed in a friendly contest to score the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles, completing creative team tasks and closely observing the surroundings. Sharp codes, short discovery sections and collaborative problem solving generated plenty of conversation and moments of cooperation – exactly what makes a team building experience in Potsdam so valuable.
The route led the groups past some of the city’s loveliest spots: the sight of the Brandenburg Gate, the elegant Potsdam City Palace and the modern Museum Barberini produced frequent aha moments and small wins. Cultural highlights like these are a playful way to rediscover the city and give the shared experience extra depth.
I was reachable by phone throughout the entire tour and supported teams remotely with questions or technical issues. The weather cooperated and the atmosphere was both lively and focused – the perfect setting for a successful team building experience in Potsdam.
After exactly three hours all teams returned to Platz der Einheit for the awards ceremony. On the top of the podium was the team Die Potsdamen with 300 points, followed by Die Potsdam-Checker with 290 points and A-Team with 285 points. All participants received personalized certificates, and the teams in places one to three also took home medals.
This Geocaching format combines sightseeing, teamwork and healthy competition – an excellent way for companies to strengthen their collaboration. I look forward to the next team that wants to enjoy a team building experience in Potsdam in this active and friendly way.
