Team Building Event Procter & Gamble Service GmbH
Our Geocaching concept combines playful competition with urban discovery, creating an ideal foundation for a team building experience in Heidelberg.
On July 16, 2025 at 9:00 AM I had the pleasure of welcoming 24 employees from Procter & Gamble Service GmbH at Adenauerplatz as the CityHunters team guide. After a brief introduction and the distribution of tablets, we set off in four teams. The task was clear: solve puzzles, complete team challenges and collect points — all in a contest to find the best combination of brains, creativity and speed.
The route took the groups through Heidelberg's vibrant heart, past landmarks such as Heidelberg Castle, the Old Bridge and the Church of the Holy Spirit. Participants discovered corners that are easy to overlook in everyday life and joined forces to crack codes and uncover hidden clues. While the teams mostly worked independently, I remained available by phone to help with questions, so each group felt secure yet free to find its own solutions.
The weather showed a wild side, but the gray clouds did nothing to dampen the mood. If anything, the light drizzle added energy and made the city exploration a memorable experience. Moments like these strengthen cohesion and are exactly what we mean by a real team building experience in Heidelberg. The mix of exploration, tricky tasks and friendly rivalry brought plenty of laughter and fresh ideas for collaboration.
After three intense hours all teams reconvened at Adenauerplatz for the awards ceremony. Alte Herren Runde claimed first place with 375 points, followed by Woww Hunters with 360 points and Lords of Heidelberg with 330 points. The winners enjoyed well-earned medals and everyone left with a day full of fun and team bonding.
