Cologne charms with its history, lively atmosphere and iconic landmarks like the Cologne Cathedral — the perfect setting for our adventure today. On July 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM I met the group of 12 colleagues at the station forecourt as CityHunters team guide, welcomed everyone warmly and gave a brief outline of the plan. After a short briefing the teams received the necessary tools and information, then we split the group into two teams and got the team building experience in Cologne underway.
The tour took the teams across the city center: from impressive views of the Cologne Cathedral to the Hohenzollern Bridge and past spots like the Museum Ludwig. The teams worked independently in friendly competition to score the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team challenges — exactly the mix that fosters real team spirit during the team building experience in Cologne. The weather cooperated, the sun was shining and spirits were high.
As team guide I was reachable by phone throughout in case any questions or minor technical issues came up. Coordination ran smoothly; the app and the tablets helped the teams find the next stations and complete the tasks. After 2.5 hours everyone reconvened at the station forecourt for the awards ceremony. The tension was palpable as we announced the scores: the winning team was Winner with 300 points, followed by Fantastischen6 with 285 points — a close result and a fantastic finale for our team building experience in Cologne.
