Team Building Event Siemens AG
The weather was perfect: bright sunshine accompanied us at our Geocaching event in Regensburg on July 3, 2025. As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed 18 motivated colleagues from Siemens AG who met in the morning at Haidplatz and were ready for an active team building experience in Regensburg.
After a brief introduction and explanation of the format I divided the group into three teams. With tablets and our CityHunters app in hand the teams set off on their exploration of the old town. The route took them to landmarks such as Regensburg Cathedral, across the Stone Bridge and past the Old Town Hall — perfect stops to combine fun, puzzles and interesting facts about Regensburg.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in a friendly contest. Points were awarded for correctly solving tricky puzzles and for creative team tasks. I was reachable by phone throughout the game in case questions or technical problems arose, and exchanges stayed brief and solution-focused.
This active team building experience in Regensburg promoted communication, collaboration and a healthy sense of competition. It was great to see ideas come together, strategies form and each group contribute its strengths. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, curiosity and genuine team dynamics.
After 2.5 hours all participants met again at Haidplatz for the awards ceremony. On the podium were Team 2iemens with 300 points, Team Schnitzis with 255 points and Team Pfadfinder with 240 points. The winners received personally presented medals — a lovely finish to a successful event.
Geocaching in Regensburg remains an excellent way to combine urban exploration and a team building experience. Whether cathedral, bridge or town hall, the city offers many picturesque locations for engaging tasks. I am already looking forward to the next team building experience in Regensburg and to more groups who want to enjoy this special mix of adventure, fun and team spirit.
