Team Building Event FlatexDEGIRO AG
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a special iPad Tour experience for the colleagues from FlatexDEGIRO AG in Palma de Mallorca on June 27, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. The meeting point was the bustling Plaza Santo Domingo de la Calzade, where I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters App and the iPads, and split the 30 participants into five teams. The mood was hopeful from the start — perfect conditions for a real team building experience in Palma de Mallorca.
Our iPad Tour blended modern technology with engaging challenges: the teams navigated the old town on their own, discovered squares and landmarks such as the Cathedral of Palma, the Palacio Real de la Almudaina and the Parque del Mar, and solved puzzles and creative team tasks at the stations. The mix of culture, play and strategy showed how well fun and focused collaboration go together — a true team building experience in Palma de Mallorca.
Throughout the tour the groups were self-sufficient and competed in a friendly contest. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks; the CityHunters App displayed the standings in real time and provided extra motivation. As team guide I was reachable by phone if help was needed, so small technical or organizational questions could be resolved quickly without interrupting the flow of the game.
After two hours everyone reconvened at Plaza Santo Domingo de la Calzade for the award ceremony. In perfect weather I invited the winning team Speedtrader to the stage with an impressive 135 points, followed by The money makers with 105 points. The winners received well-deserved medals, and the joy over shared experiences was palpable. Moments like these demonstrate the lasting impact of team experiences.
It was a pleasure to see how much energy and creativity the group brought to the event. The iPad Tour offered a lively, interactive way to explore the city and is an ideal option for a team building experience in Palma de Mallorca — modern, dynamic and full of shared highlights. I am already looking forward to the next adventure in Palma de Mallorca with new teams.
