The weather couldn't have been better — sunshine and a pleasant breeze accompanied our day in Freudenstadt.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming 24 enthusiastic colleagues from bhg Autohandelsgesellschaft mbH at the marketplace on June 28, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. After a brief introduction and dividing into four teams, our Geocaching adventure began: a team building experience in Freudenstadt at its best. Spirits were high from the start, as the mix of puzzles, small tasks and exploring the town left everyone wanting more.
The route led the teams across the city center past well-known sights — from the imposing town church of Freudenstadt and the Kurhaus Palmenwald to the Friedrichsturm. This showed how a team building experience in Freudenstadt brings people together: the groups worked independently, combined their strengths and searched for solutions together. Points were earned by solving puzzles correctly and completing team tasks successfully. I remained reachable by phone throughout in case any questions or problems arose.
After three hours all teams met again at the marketplace for the awards ceremony. The tension was high as the results were announced: the winners were Team Eins with 375 points, closely followed by Die Besten with 345 points, and Team 1850 in third place with 340 points. As a token of recognition, all participants received personalized certificates — a lovely finish and a lasting memento of this special team building event.
This Geocaching format offers exactly what makes a good team building experience in Freudenstadt: shared experiences, friendly competition and discovering the town from a new perspective. Whether along historic squares or tucked-away corners, the combination of fun and cooperation made the day a thoroughly successful experience.
