Team Building Event Siemens AG
Twenty Siemens AG employees arrived punctually at Hugenottenplatz to embark on an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction and divided the participants into three teams. With tablets and our custom app the teams then set off through Erlangen — the perfect combination of technology and adventure that makes our team building experience in Erlangen so special.
The route led the teams past well-known spots such as the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, the Erlangen Botanical Garden and the Huguenot Church. At each stop they had to solve puzzles, gather clues and complete team challenges. The teams worked independently and competed in a friendly rivalry for the highest score — fun and cooperation were clearly the focus.
During the roughly two-hour game I remained reachable by phone in case questions arose or technical support was needed, so the tour ran smoothly for everyone. The weather cooperated, the mood was high, and you could see how much such activities strengthen the sense of community — a true team building experience in Erlangen.
After exactly two hours all participants returned to Hugenottenplatz for the awards ceremony. I was pleased to announce the standings: first place went to Team Unbeatable with 210 points, followed by Come to Jesus with 195 points and Team Two with 150 points. The top three teams received medals as a visible sign of their success.
Once again it was impressive to see how much energy and creativity an event like this can release. Murder Mystery Geocaching offered the perfect mix of puzzle fun, city discovery and lasting team building experience in Erlangen. I am already looking forward to the next time we explore the city together and watch teams grow into small investigative communities.
