Team Building Event Siemens AG
Sunshine and mild temperatures accompanied our iPad Tour that afternoon – perfect weather for a team building experience in Herzogenaurach.
As CityHunters team guide, I welcomed the Siemens AG group at around 3:00 PM at Hotel HerzogsPark on Beethovenstraße. After a warm introduction and a brief rundown on how to use the iPads and the CityHunters app, the 37 participants were split into nine teams. Each team received an iPad as the hub of the high-tech Scavenger Hunt, and then they set off through Herzogenaurach's lively town center.
The route took the teams past landmarks such as the Herzogenaurach City Museum, the Evangelical Town Church, and the tower of the former Lower Gate. At every stop they faced interactive puzzles and creative team tasks that demanded observation, clear communication, and strategic thinking. The CityHunters app kept all groups connected in real time, displayed scores, and added extra motivation with a live chat.
During the tour the teams were left to their own devices and competed in a friendly contest for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team challenges. I remained available by phone throughout and stepped in to help with questions or technical issues so everyone could focus on fun and teamwork.
After three hours all teams reconvened at Hotel HerzogsPark for the prize ceremony. The excitement was high: first place went to Silver Scouts with 420 points. In second place was Copper Crew with 390 points, closely followed by Golden Gunners in third, also with 390 points. The mood was jubilant and proud — a great finish to this team building event.
This iPad Tour once again demonstrated how effective a team building experience in Herzogenaurach can be: modern technology meets local history, team spirit, and real human connection. I am already looking forward to the next adventure in Herzogenaurach and more unforgettable moments with new teams.
