Team Building Event AOK Sachsen-Anhalt Kommunikationscenter GmbH
The eleven participants from AOK Sachsen-Anhalt Kommunikationscenter GmbH arrived promptly on 26 June 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gänseliesel fountain, ready for an interactive iPad Murder Mystery Tour through Göttingen.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to the devices and rules, and split the participants into two teams. From the start there was a lot of excitement: the iPads were ready to go, the map explained the next steps, and the teams geared up for the first puzzle stations. This classic team building experience in Göttingen blends playful challenges with active exploration of the city.
The tour took the teams past well-known sights such as the Georg-August University of Göttingen, the Old Botanical Garden and, of course, the Gänseliesel fountain, where the historic atmosphere made the cases especially thrilling. Thanks to the app, the groups could navigate on their own, collect clues and solve team tasks — always competing for the highest score. A real experience that brings a team building experience in Göttingen to life.
During the 90-minute game the teams were on their own and full of drive. I stayed reachable by phone in case of technical questions or task clarifications. The mix of murder-mystery suspense, creative challenges and the ticking clock led to lots of laughter, strong collaboration and surprising moments as teams exchanged solution ideas.
After 90 minutes everyone met back at the Gänseliesel fountain for the award ceremony. The winning team Schatzmeister scored an impressive 195 points and celebrated their success. In second place was team Ghostbusters with 180 points — close results that kept the competition exciting. The weather was perfect, which added to the good mood.
The tour was a complete success: fun, motivation and real team experiences were front and center. Whether for a company outing or a department party, this format is a refreshing way to have a team building experience in Göttingen and to discover the city from a new perspective.
