Team Building Event Frauenarztpraxis Dr. Lippmann & Holthausen

As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure on June 18, 2025 of leading an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching event with the staff from the gynecology practice Dr. Lippmann & Holthausen in Old Town. The meeting point was the back of the main church St. Petri, where I welcomed the twelve participants and, after a short introduction, split them into three teams. The mood was expectant — a perfect start for a successful team building experience in Old Town.

Armed with tablets and our special app, the teams set off independently to follow the trail of clues. The app guided them to various spots around the city, presented tricky cases and pointed out the next crime scenes. In doing so, the participants got to know Old Town from a new angle: stops took them near the Elbphilharmonie, through the historic Speicherstadt and past the Chilehaus. It wasn’t just about speed, but above all about cooperation, creativity and solving puzzles together — a true team building experience in Old Town.

Over the roughly three-hour tour, the groups competed for the highest score: correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks earned points. I was available by phone the entire time in case questions or technical issues arose, but for the most part the teams impressed with independent thinking and mutual support.

The weather played along, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and cheerful. When the time was up everyone gathered again at the back of the main church St. Petri for the awards ceremony. I was delighted to announce team Prosecco as the winners with an excellent 195 points, closely followed by mümmel-hunter in second place with 180 points. Applause and beaming faces rounded off the event.

Events like this combine city experience and collaboration in an ideal way. Anyone looking for a team building experience in Old Town will find not only excitement and fun, but also strengthened communication and team spirit. I look forward to more assignments in Old Town and to sending even more teams out on the trail.
