Team Building Event Roche Diagnostics
The 50 participants from Roche Diagnostics gathered on a sunny morning in Iffeldorf, eager for a refreshing team building experience.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at the hotel at Landgasthof Osterseen and gave a brief run-through of the plan. After splitting into eight teams we introduced our Geocaching scavenger hunt: tablets with the CityHunters app, a short briefing on the tasks, and then off they went. This is how our Geocaching format gets started, combining fun, discovery and teamwork.
The teams wound their way through the lanes and green spaces of Iffeldorf, discovering landmarks such as the Heuwinkl Chapel, St. Vitus Church and the historic Deichstetter House. At each station puzzles, team tasks and small challenges awaited, with points awarded for correct solutions. This is what a good team building experience in Iffeldorf is all about: collaborative thinking, creative problem solving and shared discovery of the town.
During the tour the groups were largely on their own, competing against one another in friendly rivalry. I remained available by phone to help with questions or technical issues, offering support and safety without interrupting the fun. The lovely weather only added to the relaxed atmosphere.
After exactly two hours everyone met back at the hotel at Landgasthof Osterseen for the awards ceremony. The excitement was high: the winning team 9 auf einen Streich took first place with 375 points. Second place went to Team Gummibärchen with 300 points, followed by Die Blinden in third with 270 points. Applause, photos and happy faces rounded off those shared moments.
This Geocaching event once again showed how much energy and cohesion a well planned team building experience in Iffeldorf can release. The mix of puzzles, physical activity and the discovery of local highlights makes such company events truly memorable.
