Team Building Event The Platform Group AG
Perfect weather and great spirits kicked off our iPad Tour through the Gothic Quarter.
As the CityHunters team guide, I welcomed the group from The Platform Group AG on June 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM. The meeting point was Hotel 4 on Carrer del Doctor Trueta in the Sant Martí neighborhood. Twenty-five participants were split into five teams, and after a brief briefing we were off — a true team building experience in the Gothic Quarter.
After a compact introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, each team received a device they used as their hub throughout the tour. The app connects all teams in real time, displays scores and guides participants with interactive tasks and puzzles. In this way our iPad Tour blends modern technology with playful challenge — a team building event in the Gothic Quarter that’s fun and unifying.
The route took teams past some of the area’s highlights: impressions in front of the Palau de la Música Catalana, quick observation tasks near the Mercat de la Boqueria and tricky questions around the Cathedral of the Gothic Quarter provided a varied set of challenges. Teams had to rely on their own strategy, creativity and cohesion as they competed in a friendly race for the top score.
I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case of questions or minor technical issues. After exactly two hours we regrouped at Hotel 4 for the awards ceremony. The atmosphere was lively when the winning team Schnitzel was announced with 225 points. Tremendous came in second with 210 points, closely followed by Sunshiners also with 210 points.
This iPad Tour was once again a wonderful example of how team building experiences in the Gothic Quarter create moments that connect colleagues beyond the workday and stay memorable for a long time.
