Team Building Event WKC Hamburg GmbH
Lübeck impresses with its Brick Gothic architecture and the charming atmosphere of its old town — an ideal setting for exciting experiences and shared discoveries.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of leading a large Geocaching event on June 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. for 99 participants from WKC Hamburg GmbH. The meeting point was the Schrangen, where, after a short briefing and an introduction to the tour app, the 99 participants were divided into 14 teams. The mood was immediately eager and curious — perfect conditions for a genuine team building experience in Lübeck.
Then we set off: each group made its way through the old town, exploring Lübeck’s beautiful corners. Along the route they encountered a variety of puzzles and creative team tasks that earned points. The challenges led to well-known sights like the Holstentor, St. Mary’s Church and the St. Annen Museum Quarter, but also to hidden spots that are easy to overlook. Teams were largely on their own and used their strengths to find solutions — exactly what a team building experience in Lübeck is all about.
I was reachable by phone throughout the three hours in case any questions or technical issues arose. The weather was kind, with sunshine and mild temperatures that lifted spirits and made the tour through Lübeck a real pleasure.
After three hours all teams met back at the Schrangen for the awards ceremony. First place went to Team 11 with 345 points, followed by Team14, also with 345 points. Third place went to Team 3 with 315 points. The top three teams were awarded medals — a fitting end to a day of dedication, creativity and team spirit.
This event once again showed that Geocaching combines city exploration with collaboration and fun. Those seeking a team building experience in Lübeck will find not only culture and history here, but above all shared memories created together that continue to resonate within the team long afterward.
