Team Building Event Stadt Plön
The beautiful weather greeted us on June 4, 2025 at 12:45 p.m., creating the perfect atmosphere for an energetic team building experience in Eutin. As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed 55 colleagues from the Stadt Plön company in front of Eutin station and kicked off the adventure.
After a brief introduction and some quick organization I split the group into 10 teams. Each team received a tablet preloaded with the CityHunters app, a short rundown of the rules and navigation tips, and then we were off. The mix of puzzles, tricky challenges and creative team tasks was fun from the start and got the teams buzzing.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks. I remained available by phone the whole time in case any questions or technical issues came up, but mutual support and good spirits were usually enough to keep everyone moving.
The route took us through Eutin's charming town center and offered many lovely discoveries: from Eutin Castle and Fasaneninsel to the water tower and the Ostholstein Museum, all ideal backdrops for exciting tasks. It is precisely this blend of play, culture and shared achievements that makes our team building experience in Eutin so special: you get to rediscover the town and grow closer as a group.
After the three-hour tour all teams met again in front of Eutin station for the awards ceremony. The cheers were for the winning team Rabbits with 375 points. Second place went to Quickie with 285 points, followed by Mietzekatzen, also with 285 points. The friendly competition and the shared closing round wrapped up the day on a high note.
For me it was once again a rewarding afternoon: bright weather, engaged participants and many small moments of success. Geocaching combines fun and collaboration in a unique way, exactly what everyone experienced during the team building experience in Eutin. I am already looking forward to the next team building event in this beautiful town and its many other highlights such as the Eutin Festival and St. Michael's Church.
