Team Building Event Finanz Informatik
The 28 participants from Finanz Informatik met at 3:00 PM on June 2, 2025 at the agreed starting point on Andreas-Maisel-Weg in Bayreuth to set off together on a discovery tour.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief overview of the schedule, and explained to the teams how our app and the tablets work — the way our typical Geocaching experience begins. After splitting into five teams, the groups set off independently through the city center. The mix of puzzles, orientation-based tasks, and creative team challenges provided just the right balance of fun, excitement, and cooperation for a genuine team building experience in Bayreuth.
The route led past well-known sights such as the Margravial Opera House, Wahnfried House, and the New Palace Bayreuth. At special stations teams faced tricky codes, photo assignments, and small challenges that required collaboration. Each team collected points for correctly solved puzzles and creative solutions — and, of course, for good teamwork. I was available by phone during the tour in case any questions or technical issues arose.
The weather cooperated, which lifted everyone’s spirits: sunshine, good moods, and the city’s special atmosphere created many motivating moments. The event became not just a contest for points but above all an experience that strengthened the sense of togetherness — a real team building experience in Bayreuth.
After about two and a half hours all teams met back at Andreas-Maisel-Weg for the awards ceremony. On the podium were: the team 4gewinnt with 345 points in first place, AmoreMio with 270 points in second, and Fünf ist Trümpf with 225 points in third. The pleasure in the team spirit and shared successes was clearly noticeable.
