Team Building Event Hartmann AS
The city of Salzburg put on its best face and provided the perfect backdrop for a lively team building experience.
On 20 May 2025 at 4:45 p.m. I had the pleasure of welcoming 45 enthusiastic colleagues from Hartmann AS at the meeting point NH Collection City, Franz-Josef-Straße as a CityHunters team guide. After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, the participants were split into seven teams, and the adventure began.
Our iPad Tour playfully combined culture, technology and teamwork: the teams navigated the city center on their own, discovered sights such as Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Palace and Mozart's Birthplace, and solved tricky puzzles and creative team tasks at various stations. The app displayed scores in real time, adding extra motivation, genuine team building experience in Salzburg that is fun and brings people together.
Over the roughly 2.25 hours the teams were on their own and competed against each other in a friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correct answers and smart teamwork; I was available by phone in case any questions or technical problems came up. The weather cooperated, so the group could enjoy the city in beautiful sunshine.
Back at the starting point NH Collection City, Franz-Josef-Straße, all groups met for the joint award ceremony. First place went to DREAMTEAM with 255 points, closely followed by To the Stars also with 255 points, and in third place was Lost in Salzburg with 195 points. The winning team received well-deserved medals, a celebratory end to an energetic event.
Activities like these show how effective a team building experience in Salzburg can be: you get to know each other better, strengthen collaboration and see the city from a new perspective. For me as a team guide, these tours are always inspiring, Salzburg is not just a backdrop but an active part of the team experience.
