Team Building Event GKV-Spitzenverband
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure on 19 May 2025 of leading a Geocaching event for 35 colleagues from the GKV-Spitzenverband. The meeting point was Hotel & Spa Sommerfeld on Beetzer Street in Kremmen, and promptly at 3:30 PM we set off on a lively team building experience. The weather was on our side and excitement was high from the start.
After a brief introduction and being split into five teams, the groups received all the essential information for the tour. Participants quickly found their stride: team spirit, curiosity and competitive drive set the tone. This mix is exactly what makes our team building experience in Kremmen so special — solving challenges playfully while rediscovering the city.
On their route through Kremmen, the teams explored well-known spots and hidden corners, including St. Nikolai Church Kremmen and the Klubhaus Kremmen, as well as the charming old town. At several stations they had to solve puzzles and complete creative team tasks. Points were awarded for correct answers and strong teamwork, creating an exciting competition where collaboration and ingenuity counted.
I was available by phone throughout the tour to assist with questions or technical issues. The teams worked largely independently, which enhanced the experience: taking initiative, making joint decisions and sharing many moments of laughter. This form of team building experience in Kremmen builds bonds and promotes lasting collaboration.
After three hours we met again at Hotel & Spa Sommerfeld for the awards ceremony. On the podium: in first place was the team Die Sommerfelder with an impressive 405 points, second place went to Die Kreativen with 375 points, and third place was Haennes VIII, also with 375 points. The atmosphere at the awards was jubilant and appreciative — a lovely finish for everyone involved.
Experiences like this show how Geocaching in Kremmen combines fun, excitement and genuine team cohesion. I look forward to the next event and to inspiring more groups for team building experience in Kremmen.
