Team Building Event Sparkasse Pforzheim
The 19 colleagues from Sparkasse Pforzheim met punctually on 17.05.2025 at 14:00 for a shared adventure in Heidelberg.
As CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at Universitätsplatz, gave a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and handed out the iPads – then the participants were split into three teams. After a quick tech check and a short explanation of the format, the iPad Tour in Heidelberg began: modern, interactive and full of surprises.
The teams explored the city center on their own and visited sites such as Heidelberg Castle, the Old Bridge and the Church of the Holy Spirit. At various stations puzzles, photo tasks and creative challenges demanded teamwork and ingenuity. The CityHunters app connected all groups in real time, showed interim scores and offered a motivating live chat – perfect conditions for a successful team building experience in Heidelberg.
During the tour the teams competed for the highest score and tackled tasks that required both thinking and collaboration. I was reachable by phone throughout to help with questions or technical issues. The nice weather added to the upbeat atmosphere, so laughter and conversation could be heard everywhere.
After exactly two hours all groups met again at Universitätsplatz for the joint award ceremony. The excitement was high: first place went to team Oberleitungsstörung with 210 points, followed by Number one with 180 points and Alivin und die Chupmunks with 120 points. The short closing round focused on fun, recognition and sharing particularly clever solutions.
This iPad Tour once again showed how effective a team building experience in Heidelberg can be: historic settings meet modern technology, team dynamics become visible and shared successes leave lasting memories. As a guide it was a pleasure to see colleagues come closer together and end the day full of energy.
