Team Building Event S&N Invent GmbH
The 28 participants from S&N Invent GmbH met on May 17, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the Market Square in Bad Hersfeld to begin a lively Geocaching experience together.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, briefly explained the schedule and announced the four teams. After a short briefing the teams received their tasks and the supporting technology and set off through the town. Thus began our contribution to the team building experience in Bad Hersfeld: a mix of discovery, puzzles and team challenges waiting at various landmarks in the city center.
The teams were on their own during the tour and competed against each other in a friendly contest. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks — creativity, communication and collaborative thinking were required. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to assist with questions or technical issues. The weather cooperated, spirits were high, and there were repeated moments of discovery at historic spots such as the Stiftsruine, the Reichsabtei and the Wortreich.
After about two and a half hours everyone met back at the Market Square for the awards ceremony. Tension was high as the results were announced: in first place was team Nimm 2 with 285 points, followed by Fischerhut with 250 points and Auf die eins with 240 points. Applause, laughter and conversations about particularly clever solutions rounded off the day.
This event once again showed how lasting and impactful a team building experience in Bad Hersfeld can be: play, competition and shared experiences bring colleagues together in a relaxed, motivating way. Whether at the Bad Hersfeld Festival, at the town hall or along the historic paths - Geocaching offers an exciting way to rediscover the city and strengthen team spirit.
