The sun was shining over Barcelona — perfect weather for our iPad Tour on 16.05.2025 at 3:00 pm!
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the 25 participants from c.con Management Consulting GmbH at La Fonda on Carrer dels Escudellers and gave a brief introduction to the world of high-tech Scavenger Hunt. After a short briefing on the iPads and the CityHunters app, colleagues were split into four teams and off went the adventure: a genuine team building experience in Barcelona.
The route led the groups through the lively streets of the Barri Gòtic, along the busy La Rambla and past striking sights like the Sagrada Família. At each stop there were interactive puzzles and creative team challenges that required sharp observation and collaborative problem solving. The CityHunters app connected all teams in real time, displayed scores and added an extra competitive edge.
During the tour the teams were left to their own devices and competed against each other in a friendly way: points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and for creative team tasks. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues arose, which kept the experience smooth and relaxed.
After three hours all groups met back at La Fonda for the awards ceremony. The atmosphere was celebratory and everyone was delighted: the winning team Blau und Schlau took first place with 350 points. In second place was Gucci Gang with 240 points, and Team Aperol came in third with 180 points. Moments like these show how effective and motivating a team building experience in Barcelona can be.
The iPad Tour combines modern technology with playful competition and genuine city discovery — an ideal format for a team building experience in Barcelona. As a guide it was once again a pleasure to watch colleagues grow closer, laugh and discover new sides of each other. Barcelona provides the perfect backdrop — culture, sunshine and team spirit in one unforgettable experience.
