Team Building Event Bruker AXS
Our event concept combines modern technology with playful competition to sustainably strengthen team cohesion, which is exactly what our iPad Tour in Karlsruhe offers.
As the CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming 22 participants from Bruker AXS on May 13, 2025 at 6:00 pm. We met on Erbprinzenstraße, where I gave a brief introduction, explained the iPads and the CityHunters App, and prepared the teams. In total five teams set off to explore the city.
The iPad Tour in Karlsruhe blends city exploration with interactive challenges: at various locations — passing sights such as Karlsruhe Palace, the State Art Gallery and the Center for Art and Media Technology — the teams solved puzzles and completed creative team tasks. Points were awarded for correct answers and successful team challenges, and the app displayed real-time standings to add extra motivation.
During the tour the teams operated independently and competed in a friendly rivalry for the most points. I was available by phone if questions or technical issues arose, and I enjoyed the enthusiasm and ingenuity all the groups showed. The perfect weather of course contributed to the upbeat atmosphere and made the team building experience in Karlsruhe a thoroughly successful event.
After two hours all teams met back at the starting point on Erbprinzenstraße for the award ceremony. The scores reflected the close, fair competition: the winner was team Socabim with 210 points, closely followed by Tigertamer with 195 points and Highsense in third place with 180 points. The winners received medals and the well-deserved applause of their colleagues.
Experiences like this show how effective a team building experience in Karlsruhe can be: fresh-air fun, solving tasks together and discovering cultural highlights bring people closer and create positive memories. I look forward to the next iPad Tour and to helping teams grow once more.
