Team Building Event Dr. Metschkoll GmbH
Old Town impresses with its blend of history, lively city culture and striking landmarks – a perfect setting for exploration and a team building experience.
On May 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM I had the pleasure of welcoming the group from Dr. Metschkoll GmbH at Marienplatz as a CityHunters team guide. After a short briefing on the schedule and an explanation of how our app and the tasks work, the twelve participants were divided into three teams. The excitement was tangible – just the right mood for an active team building experience in Old Town.
The tour led the teams across the city center: from the New Town Hall past the Frauenkirche to small, hidden spots where puzzles and team tasks were waiting. Each team made its own way, competing for points earned by correctly solved challenges and clever teamwork. I remained available by phone the whole time in case any questions or technical issues came up.
The weather cooperated, with sunshine accompanying the groups and creating a relaxed atmosphere. The tasks demanded a mix of creativity, problem solving and communication – ideal conditions for strengthening bonds. Especially at stops near sights like the Residenz and the Deutsches Museum there were wonderful moments where team spirit and fun came together.
After exactly three hours all teams regrouped at Marienplatz for the awards ceremony. There was a buzz of anticipation as the points were announced: first place went to team Babaria with 315 points. In second place came Aloisius with 270 points, closely followed by Münchener Kinddl in third with 270 points.
This Geocaching event once again showed how effective and entertaining a team building experience in Old Town can be: competition, discovery and shared laughter naturally bring colleagues together. For everyone involved it was an engaging, inspiring morning – an experience that will be remembered for a long time.
