Team Building Event Sennheiser electronic SE & Co. KG
The 25 participants from Sennheiser electronic SE & Co. KG were full of anticipation when we met on May 7, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at Opernplatz in Hanover.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief outline of the plan and introduced the four teams. After a short briefing the adventure began: Geocaching as a refreshing team building experience in Hanover. With tablets and the CityHunters app the teams set off and discovered the city in a new, playful way.
The route led through the city center and passed many familiar spots — from the impressive New Town Hall to the historic Market Church and the picturesque Leine Palace. Everywhere there were puzzles to solve, team challenges to master and hidden clues to find. The tasks required creativity, communication and quick thinking; team spirit grew noticeably and the shared laughter became the best reward.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly rivalry for the most points. I was reachable by phone if help was needed and enjoyed numerous calls with updates and anecdotes. The weather was decent — fresh air and pleasant conditions accompanied us, ideal for active exploration and a genuine team building experience in Hanover.
After two hours all teams met again at Opernplatz for the prize ceremony. Excitement filled the air: the winning team Lost in Hanover secured first place with 255 points. Congratulations to them. In second place came Humble Winners, also with 255 points, and third place went to team POWERBANK with 225 points. The atmosphere at the award ceremony was jubilant and proud — a perfect ending to this team building event.
Experiences like these show how valuable a team building experience in Hanover can be: discovering the city, puzzling together and celebrating successes. As a guide these moments are the best part of our work — watching colleagues grow together as a team and leave with big smiles.
