Team Building Event Schule am Birkenhof
Our event concept combines adventure, puzzle fun and shared experiences, and that is exactly what I had the pleasure of leading on April 28, 2025, as a CityHunters team guide in Bernau bei Berlin.
At 9:00 AM, 66 colleagues from Schule am Birkenhof met at the Market Square. After a brief welcome and introduction, I went over the schedule: tablets with the CityHunters app, a short navigation demo, and then off they went. Participants were divided into ten teams and given the first coordinates for their route through the town center.
The team building experience in Bernau bei Berlin showed itself at its best: the teams were on their own, puzzling, searching and solving challenges at historic sites. Whether cracking codes, tackling creative team tasks or working through little observation puzzles, points could be earned everywhere. The coordinates led the groups to well-known spots such as St. Marys Church, the Bernau water tower and the St. George Hospital in Bernau, with the citys unique atmosphere providing frequent aha moments.
I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and enjoyed the many calls reporting successes, as well as the brief requests for help that were usually resolved quickly. The friendly competition encouraged communication, creativity and collaborative problem-solving, exactly what we mean by the team building experience in Bernau bei Berlin.
After three hours all teams returned to the Market Square, where the excitement was palpable during the awards ceremony. The satisfaction over completed challenges, little anecdotes from the route and the collegial exchanges made the finish especially meaningful. Perfect weather added a sunny touch to the whole experience and helped everyone feel completely comfortable.
