Team Building Event Westnetz GmbH
At the central meeting point in the old town I welcomed the group, gave a brief explanation of the CityHunters App and the iPad controls, and split everyone into three teams. The atmosphere was relaxed and full of anticipation from the start, a perfect kickoff for a real team building experience in Heimbach.
Then we were off: the teams wandered the lanes on their own, discovered hidden corners of the town, and solved tricky puzzles and creative challenges at various stations. Along the way landmarks such as Hengebach Castle, St. Salvator and the Evangelical Church were noticed and incorporated into the tasks, blending city exploration with modern playful fun.
The CityHunters App showed the scores in real time, which stoked the competitive spirit. Whether problem solvers, quick decision-makers or idea generators, every strength was needed. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case questions or technical issues arose, so everyone felt safe and supported.
After about 2.5 hours the teams met again at a pretty square in the town center for the awards ceremony. The weather cooperated, which made the mood especially good during the debrief and when sharing highlights. Third place went to the team Kolbenfresser with 255 points, just behind Riskbusters in second with 345 points. The victory and medals went to the team Die Heimbacher with an impressive 360 points.
The iPad Tour playfully combined teamwork, local knowledge and a healthy dose of competition, a true experience for all participants. A team building experience in Heimbach works like this, with fun, curiosity and shared successes. I look forward to the next group to explore the town together again and strengthen team spirit.
