Team Building Event Alliance Healthcare Deutschland GmbH
Heidelberg impresses with its blend of historical beauty and a lively urban atmosphere — the perfect setting for an active team building event. On March 19, 2025 at 3:30 PM, 80 colleagues from Alliance Healthcare Deutschland GmbH met me at the meeting point on Kurfürsten-Anlage, ready for an exciting Geocaching adventure.
As the CityHunters team guide, I gave a brief welcome, explained the plan and split the participants into twelve small teams. After a short introduction, the teams received tablets with the preinstalled CityHunters app and were shown how the tour worked. From the start the excitement was palpable — a real team building experience in Heidelberg had begun.
The route led the teams through some of the city's most beautiful spots: from Heidelberg Castle across the Old Bridge to impressive university buildings like Ruprecht-Karls University. Along the way the teams solved puzzles, tackled creative challenges and searched for hidden clues. Points were awarded for correctly solved tasks and clever teamwork. During the tour the teams were largely on their own and engaged in friendly competition — I was available by phone if anyone needed assistance.
After 2.5 hours all groups returned to Kurfürsten-Anlage for the awards ceremony. The atmosphere was joyful, the weather perfect, and the results showed how much motivation and collaboration the teams had. First place went to team Snickers with 315 points, followed by MilkyWay and Malteser, both with 300 points. Moments like these are at the heart of the team building experience in Heidelberg: delight in shared success and many new memories together.
As a guide it was wonderful to watch colleagues rely on each other, laugh together and come up with creative solutions. Geocaching in Heidelberg offers the perfect mix of sightseeing, adventure and team development — an experience that resonates long after it ends. If you are planning a team building experience in Heidelberg, CityHunters looks forward to guiding your group and helping you rediscover the city in a playful way.
