Bad Herrenalb reveals its charm time and again — historic corners, green slopes and a welcoming town center make it the perfect place for shared experiences.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure on March 13, 2025 at 7:00 pm of leading an iPad Tour for 69 colleagues from EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG. We met at the SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA on Rehteichweg, where I warmly welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to the technology and the CityHunters App, and then split the participants into ten teams. The iPads were the hub: navigation, interactive puzzles and creative challenges created a great atmosphere and real teamwork — a genuine team building experience in Bad Herrenalb.
The teams then set off on their own and explored well-known spots such as the Cistercian Abbey Herrenalb, the Brick Museum and the viewpoints around Falkenstein Castle. At various stations they solved riddles and completed team tasks, earning points for correct answers and especially creative contributions. I remained reachable by phone during the tour in case any questions or technical issues arose, so the event ran smoothly and fairly for everyone.
After two hours all groups met back at the SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA for a cheerful awards ceremony. The weather was pleasant — not extreme, but friendly — ideal for an active evening outdoors and for fostering a team building experience in Bad Herrenalb. The competition was close: first place went to Yellow submarine with 185 points, followed by Wir haben nur einen Achim with 175 points and A-Team with 160 points. The top three teams were awarded medals and received enthusiastic applause.
