Team Building Event Deutsche Giganetz GmbH
On February 20, 2025, I had the pleasure of welcoming the colleagues from Deutsche Giganetz GmbH as a CityHunters team guide to an exciting Geocaching event in Leipzig. At 3:30 pm, 19 participants met at the Thomaskirchhof — a perfect starting point for our adventure around the Thomaskirche and the lively city center.
After a short welcome and introduction, we formed three teams and I explained the format and how to use the CityHunters app on the tablets. Everyone was ready to solve the tasks and discover the city in a new way. team building experience in Leipzig was the focus that afternoon: puzzles, small team challenges and tricky clues demanded creativity and collaboration.
The teams were on their own during the tour and explored Leipzigs highlights — from Leipzig University through the impressive Gewandhaus to the Nikolaikirche — always aiming to collect as many points as possible. Points were awarded for correctly solving riddles and mastering the team challenges. I remained reachable by phone throughout the route so I could quickly help with any questions or problems.
The weather cooperated, spirits were high and the competition brought lots of fun and motivation. After two hours everyone returned to the Thomaskirchhof for the awards ceremony. The standings: winners were DGNHUNTERS with 240 points, followed by Gewinner*innen with 225 points and Team 3 with 180 points. Applause, brief anecdotes from the tour and satisfied faces made the finish perfect.
