Team Building Event MVZ Dieringhausen
Our event concept combines modern technology with playful city exploration to create an engaging experience for all participants.
As a CityHunters team guide, I led a team building event for the staff of MVZ Dieringhausen on December 13, 2024 at 4:00 PM. The meeting point was MVZ Dieringhausen on Marie-Juchacz Street in Gummersbach, where we welcomed everyone and gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters app.
The 14 participants were split into three teams and each received an iPad as the central hub for the tour. The tasks offered a well-balanced mix of puzzles, creative team assignments and small challenges that required both observation and communication. The CityHunters app displayed the scores live and generated plenty of competitive spirit.
Along the route the teams explored Gummersbach and discovered well-known spots such as the Oberbergischer Dom, the Schwalbe-Arena and the Vogteihaus. The combination of history, culture and modern technology made the team building event a varied and enjoyable day. During the tour the teams were on their own and could act strategically — I was available by phone in case of questions or technical problems.
The weather was fairly good and contributed to a positive atmosphere, so spirits stayed cheerful and motivated throughout. It was particularly nice to see how quickly colleagues came together and collaborated as a team in the race for the highest score — a real team building experience in Gummersbach that visibly brought people closer.
After three hours all groups met back at the starting point for the awards ceremony. The winning team Überfragt secured first place with 170 points. Close behind was Vier in Drei, also with 170 points, and in third place were Die Schneehasen with 155 points.
It was a thoroughly successful afternoon full of fun, team spirit and encounters — exactly what a team building experience in Gummersbach is all about.
