Team Building Event PDR-Team GmbH
Schwäbisch Gmünd charms with its rich history and a welcoming town center that is perfect for exploring.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of leading a lively Geocaching event for PDR-Team GmbH on December 6, 2024. At 2:30 PM, 45 participants met me in Ledergasse, where we greeted each other briefly, explained the plan, and divided into teams. In total nine motivated teams formed and set off on the city tour.
Armed with tablets and our CityHunters app, we passed well-known sights such as the Heilig-Kreuz-Münster, St John’s Church, and the Prediger. The combination of puzzles, tricky tasks, and small team challenges demanded creative solutions and careful observation. What began as sightseeing turned into a true team building experience in Schwäbisch Gmünd: planning together, discussing, experimenting, and competing to win were at the heart of it.
During the tour the teams were left to their own devices and took part in a friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks. I remained reachable by phone throughout the route and was able to assist with technical questions or uncertainties without disrupting the flow of the game.
After two intense hours everyone met again in Ledergasse for the award ceremony. The excitement was high as the results were announced: first place went to team PDR Hantars with 320 points, followed by Dream Team with 305 points and Fitzgerald in third with 290 points.
The weather was mild and helped keep spirits high — ideal conditions for a team building experience in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The mix of competition, collaborative problem-solving, and exploring historic corners made the event a memorable experience.
I am already looking forward to the next round and to introducing more groups to the city in a playful way. A team building experience in Schwäbisch Gmünd not only provides fun but also creates lasting shared memories.
