Team Building Event AbbVie Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG (Abteilung Pharmakovigilanz)

On December 2, 2024 at 4:30 PM I had the pleasure of serving as a CityHunters team guide for an exciting Geocaching event with twelve employees from AbbVie Germany GmbH & Co. KG (Pharmacovigilance department). We met at the agreed meeting point in the Reisinger-Anlage, where I gave a short welcome, explained the schedule and assigned the teams. Three teams then set off with tablets and the CityHunters app to rediscover Wiesbaden.
Participants had a genuine team building experience in Wiesbaden: along a route through the city they solved puzzles, completed team challenges and hunted for hidden clues. The stations led past well-known sights — from the Market Church through the Hessian State Theatre to the Russian Orthodox Church — offering plenty of opportunities for creative exchange. The teams were on their own and competed in a friendly contest for the highest score. Points were awarded for correct puzzle answers and successful team tasks; I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case questions or technical problems came up.
The weather was fine and, with a pleasant coolness and soft light, set a focused yet relaxed mood — perfect for exploration and good spirits. After two hours everyone met back in the Reisinger-Anlage for a joint awards ceremony. With a wink the winning team was announced: Team 2 took first place with 0 points, which made us all smile and underlined the friendly nature of the competition.
Shared challenges like these not only strengthen problem-solving skills but, above all, foster togetherness.
