Team Building Event EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG
Esslingen am Neckar delights with its lively blend of historic architecture and vibrant urban life.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed 20 motivated colleagues from EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG on September 3, 2024 at 3:30 PM at a central meeting point on Bahnhofsplatz. After a short introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, the participants were split into three teams and the mission for our team building experience in Esslingen am Neckar began.
The teams set off and explored the city on their own: between the imposing Stadtkirche St. Dionys, the charming Frauenkirche and the lively Postmichelbrunnen they solved puzzles, completed creative team tasks and collected valuable points. The mix of history, culture and high-tech produced plenty of aha moments and gave everyone lots to talk about.
During the roughly two-hour iPad Tour the CityHunters app kept the excitement high: live leaderboards, interactive tasks and small challenges fueled the competitive spirit. My role as guide was to stay available after the brief introduction — I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to support the teams with any questions or technical issues.
For me, a team building experience in Esslingen am Neckar means colleagues coming together in a playful way: strategy, communication and shared fun were all required. The participants showed great creativity and team spirit, so the tour will be remembered not just as a city exploration but above all as a lasting team building event.
After two exciting hours all groups met again at Bahnhofsplatz for a joint awards ceremony. It was great to see the teams compete fairly and how the friendly exchanges rounded off the afternoon.
At the end there was plenty of time to share impressions over a relaxed get-together — and perhaps to start planning the next joint discovery through Esslingen am Neckar. A team building experience in Esslingen am Neckar is simply enjoyable and brings people together in a special way.
