Team Building Event Emeritus
The weather was perfect — sunshine and mild temperatures accompanied our iPad Tour through Turin.
As a CityHunters team guide, I welcomed 19 colleagues from the company Emeritus at Piazza San Carlo on November 27, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. After a brief, friendly introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, the participants were split into five teams. The mood was immediately upbeat, the perfect mix of anticipation and curiosity.
Our concept brings discovery and collaboration together in a lively way — a typical team building experience in Turin. The teams were given their iPads as the central game platform and set off to explore the city center. The tasks led them to impressive sights like the Museo Egizio, the Mole Antonelliana and the Palazzo Madama. At each stop they faced tricky puzzles and group challenges that demanded observation, creativity and teamwork.
During the tour the groups were left to their own devices and competed against each other in good spirits. Points were awarded for correctly solved tasks and successful team challenges, which quickly made participation great fun. As team guide I was reachable by phone to help with questions or technical issues, but otherwise stayed in the background so the teams could find their own pace and strategy.
After about two hours everyone met back at Piazza San Carlo for the awards ceremony. The winning team Wolfs took first place with 175 points. In second place came Acheivers with 135 points, closely followed by Stefano in third with 130 points. The top three teams received medals and plenty of applause, a perfect finale to a successful team building experience in Turin.
Experiences like this create shared memories, strengthen bonds and leave participants wanting more. A team building experience in Turin combines culture, fun and modern technology — and stays in the minds of everyone who took part for a long time.
