Team Building Event Firma Böhmler Drehteile GmbH
On the morning of November 22, 2024 Karlsruhe invited discovery and provided the perfect backdrop for our Murder Mystery Geocaching.
As a team guide for CityHunters I welcomed the 14 participants at 9:30 a.m. on Erbprinzenstrasse. After a short introduction we explained the format and rules and then split the group into three teams. The excitement was palpable: everyone was looking forward to exploring the city and solving puzzles together.
Our tour playfully combined suspense with city exploration, true to the spirit of a team building experience in Karlsruhe. Equipped with tablets and a custom app the teams set off independently to search for crime scenes and clues. Technology met adventure as the app guided them to various locations where tricky puzzles and team challenges awaited.
Along the way we passed well-known sites that offered each team new perspectives on Karlsruhe. Stops such as Karlsruhe Palace, the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe and the Zoological City Garden gave the Scavenger Hunt a special atmosphere and produced many aha moments.
The teams competed in friendly rivalry for the highest score, earned by correctly solving tasks and succeeding in team challenges. It showed how communication, role distribution and creativity can work together — exactly what makes a team building experience in Karlsruhe so valuable.
Throughout the tour I was reachable by phone to assist with questions or technical problems, but I deliberately stayed in the background so the teams could develop their own strategies. The good weather added to the positive mood and made the route particularly pleasant.
After three hours all groups returned to Erbprinzenstrasse where we held a joint awards ceremony. During the review we praised successes, highlighted especially creative solutions and celebrated the winning teams. Moments like these not only strengthen cohesion but also create lasting memories.
For me this event was once again a great example of how a team building experience in Karlsruhe combines work and pleasure — exciting, connecting and sustainably motivating. I look forward to the next adventure in Karlsruhe with new groups.
