Team Building Event Einrichtungsverbund Steinhöring
On 21 November 2024 at 9:30 AM I had the pleasure of welcoming a lively group from the Einrichtungsverbund Steinhöring as a CityHunters team guide to a special adventure. We met at the Röhrenbrunnen in Regensburg, a central starting point that immediately sparked excitement for the upcoming city exploration. In total 15 colleagues took part and I divided them into three teams.
After a brief introduction the teams received tablets with the preinstalled CityHunters app and a clear briefing on how things would work. Then each group set off: pure team building experience in Regensburg as participants explored the old town on their own solved puzzles and tackled shared challenges. The tasks demanded creativity problem solving and cooperation — exactly the ingredients that make a good team building event.
The route led the teams past well known sights of the city. Between stops such as Regensburg Cathedral the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall there were many entertaining moments as teams developed strategies discussed solutions and cheered each other on. The weather held up which kept the mood open energetic and very positive.
During the roughly three hour tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly way for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team challenges. I was available by phone throughout the tour to assist with questions or small issues — for the most part it stayed at encouraging calls and a few helpful tips.
After three hours everyone met back at the Röhrenbrunnen for the joint awards ceremony. Joy over successful team achievements shared laughter about tricky tasks and pride in the points earned made the finale a memorable moment. The team building experience in Regensburg showed itself at its best: exciting connecting and refreshing.
Experiences like these strengthen team cohesion in the long run. For me as a guide these encounters are exactly why I love Geocaching events: you rediscover the city experience unforgettable moments and enjoy real team building experience in Regensburg. I am already looking forward to the next event.
