Team Building Event Becton Dickinson GmbH
At our CityHunters Geocaching events the focus is on discovering and taking part together — a concept that perfectly combines adventure, puzzle fun and team spirit.
On November 6, 2024 at 4:00 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 34 colleagues from Becton Dickinson GmbH at University Square in Heidelberg as team guide. After a brief introduction and handing out the tablets with the CityHunters app preinstalled, the participants were divided into seven teams and set off on an exciting tour through the city.
During the tour the teams were left to their own devices and competed in a friendly contest: points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and completing joint team tasks. I was reachable by phone throughout the round for questions or technical issues and supported the groups as needed.
The tasks led the teams to well-known and charming spots that showed Heidelberg in a whole new light. Stops around Ruprecht-Karls University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg Castle and the Old Bridge invited wonder, problem solving and collaboration. This is exactly what our events stand for: a team building experience in Heidelberg through exciting discovery tours and shared puzzle solving.
After two hours all teams met again at University Square for the awards ceremony. The weather cooperated and helped create a great atmosphere for the final gathering. First place went to Team 6 odawas with an impressive 315 points. Second place went to Fab 5 with 300 points, and third place to Science Cops with 285 points. The top three teams received medals.
Experiences like this are more than just a competition: they create shared memories, strengthen communication and bring colleagues closer together in a playful way.
