Team Building Event Großbäckerei Schneider GmbH
On October 30, 2024 at 1:30 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming a lively group from Großbäckerei Schneider GmbH in Siegen as a CityHunters team guide. The meeting point was Siegen Town Hall at the Market, an ideal starting spot for a brisk city adventure.
Fifteen colleagues took part, and I divided them into three teams. From the short briefing you could feel the excitement: the teams were about to set off on a discovery tour, solve puzzles and complete team tasks — all competing in good spirits for the highest score.
The route led through Siegen’s charming city center. The groups explored striking spots such as the Obere Schloss, the Museum für Gegenwartskunst and the Nikolaikirche, as well as hidden corners off the beaten path. Along the way there were little brainteasers and creative challenges that encouraged cooperation and communication.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and engaged in a lively competition. Points were earned for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks. I was reachable by phone throughout and provided support when questions arose — keeping the atmosphere relaxed and solution-focused.
The weather cooperated, which lifted everyone’s spirits and made the breaks perfect for swapping stories and sharing laughs. This mix of fun, discovery and challenge is exactly what makes a team building experience in Siegen so special: shared moments in familiar places create new connections.
After three hours all teams met back at Siegen Town Hall at the Market for the award ceremony. First place went to the team Prost with 345 points. In second place was Gewinner Team with 330 points, and third place went to Magie Team with 300 points. There was great joy over the results and warm congratulations all around.
This afternoon once again showed how effective and entertaining a team building experience in Siegen can be: playful, communicative and full of little aha moments. If you want to rediscover the city and strengthen team spirit, I recommend a similar tour — it is well worth it.
