Team Building Event BDE software services
Murder Mystery Geocaching combines thrilling investigative work with interactive city exploration and is the perfect concept for an active team building experience in Lübeck.
As the team guide I welcomed 21 colleagues from BDE software services at the Schrangen on 17 October 2024 at 3:00 pm. After a brief introduction and the distribution of the tablets, the participants were divided into three teams. The app on the tablets directed them to the crime scenes and presented tricky cases to solve together.
The tour took the teams across Lübeck's historic old town and past well-known landmarks such as the Holstentor, St. Mary's Church and Lübeck Cathedral. At each station, puzzles and team challenges awaited that required not only brains but also team spirit. The groups worked largely independently and competed in good spirits for the highest score.
Points were awarded for correctly solved tasks and strong teamwork — a great way to discover strengths and foster collaboration in a playful way. I was available by phone throughout the game in case of questions or technical issues, and I was delighted by how engaged and motivated everyone was.
The weather cooperated, allowing participants to explore the historic streets and squares in pleasant conditions. After three hours we returned to the Schrangen, where we met for the final awards ceremony. The return to the center provided another chance to exchange stories and share anecdotes from the investigations.
Such events show how effective a team building experience in Lübeck can be: excitement, fun and shared successes bring colleagues together in a lasting way. I am pleased that we could offer BDE software services an engaging and bonding experience and look forward to the next investigations in this wonderful city.
