Team Building Event Tec5 AG
Seventy employees of Tec5 AG gathered on October 15, 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Dorint Hotel in Oberursel (Taunus), ready for an exciting iPad Murder Mystery Tour through the town — split into ten teams our shared adventure began.
As the team guide I welcomed the groups, gave a brief introduction to operating the iPads and explained the mission: use the app to navigate Oberursel (Taunus), decipher clues and solve cases. The tablets displayed the map and team positions so each group could plan its route independently. The mix of puzzles, team tasks and digital sleuthing made for a lively start.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly race for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved challenges or successfully completed team tasks. I was reachable by phone throughout the route in case any team needed support. The weather cooperated, letting the historic old town of Oberursel (Taunus) shine.
The route led the teams past familiar corners and revealed Oberursel (Taunus) from new perspectives: stops around St. Ursula, the Vortaunus Museum and the Alte Post became the stages for small detective stories. This combination of city discovery and playful competition is a true team building experience in Oberursel (Taunus) — exciting, bonding and great fun.
After three hours all teams returned to the Dorint Hotel for the awards ceremony. With great pleasure we presented medals to the teams finishing first through third. The winning team was Team 1 with 0 points — a surprising result that brought smiles to everyone and showed that the iPad Murder Mystery is above all about fun and togetherness.
