Team Building Event Emeritus
The sun shone on October 11, 2024, creating perfect conditions for our murder mystery adventure — ideal weather for a team building experience in Turin.
As a team guide for CityHunters, I welcomed 26 enthusiastic participants from Emeritus at Giardino Aiuola Balbo at 1:00 PM. After a short introduction we split into four teams, handed out the iPads with the CityHunters app and set off on an iPad Murder Mystery Tour through Turin’s historic streets.
The teams worked independently and competed to earn the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and completing team tasks — creative thinking, communication and speed were required. The tablet’s digital map led the groups to exciting stations, past landmarks such as the Mole Antonelliana, the Museo Egizio and Palazzo Madama. In this way the city itself became the stage for a gripping criminal case.
During the tour I was reachable by phone and stepped in whenever there were questions or minor technical issues. The atmosphere was consistently positive: laughter, lively discussions and genuine camaraderie showed how effectively a team building experience in Turin can bring people together. The mix of puzzles, discovery and competition was clearly enjoyed by everyone.
After about 1.5 hours we met again at Giardino Aiuola Balbo for the award ceremony. The winning team The Four topped the leaderboard with 70 points and were honored with medals. In second place came The Investigators with 60 points, and third place went to Cloud with 50 points. The joy at the ceremony was palpable — a lovely conclusion to an intense afternoon.
For me this day once again demonstrated how powerful a team building experience in Turin can be: it combines urban culture with shared achievements, strengthens team spirit and creates unforgettable moments.
