Team Building Event ZOL Limburgerhof
Geocaching combines city discovery, puzzle fun and team spirit, which is exactly the concept behind our CityHunters event.
On 11 October 2024 at 12:00 I welcomed the 16 participants from the company ZOL Limburgerhof as the team guide at the starting point on Korngasse in Speyer. After a short introduction and handing out the tablets, we explained the rules and got the teams ready to start.
The group was divided into three teams. With tablets in hand the teams set off to explore Speyer in a playful way: past the imposing Speyer Cathedral, through the historic lanes to the Altpörtel and on to interesting stops such as the Historical Museum of the Palatinate. Our challenges combined puzzles, team tasks and creative assignments, so that each stop became a building block for a successful team building experience in Speyer.
During the tour the teams operated independently and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks. If questions or minor issues arose I was reachable by phone, so no one had to wait long.
The weather played along beautifully, which lifted the mood even more: sunny streets, high spirits and lots of laughter while solving puzzles and discovering together. Moments like these strengthen cohesion — classic team building experience in Speyer that brings work teams closer together.
After three hours all teams met again on Korngasse for the joint awards ceremony. The celebration went to the winning team Schlumpfhausen with 420 points. In second place were Orthoqueens with 330 points and in third place Trouble with 285 points.
As team guide I was especially pleased with the level of commitment and creativity shown by the participants. Geocaching in Speyer is not only an exciting city experience but also promotes communication, problem solving and mutual trust.
If you are planning a team building experience in Speyer I would be happy to accompany your group on an equally lively tour through this historic city. I look forward to the next adventure between the Cathedral, the Altpörtel and the museum.
